I have a question on the brace height of my Leon Stewart T/D Recurve. I notice on the limb it say's brace height 6 1/2, does anybody know if that is as much as you can go with brace height
or is that just a starting point and brace can go higher or is that as much as i can set it 6 1/2.

I generally start with a high brace height shoot a properly spine arrow and listen to the bow.  I continue doing this while lowering the brace height.  When you get to a point when the noise level increases you will be at the lowest brace height that you can use on that particular bow.

I started with the brace height that it said on the limb of the bow which was 6 1/2 the bow was so noisy not knowing if the brace height that it said on the lower limb was a starting point or the max. So after asking on here i found out it was a starting point (I HOPE)and adjusted brace to almost 7" and the bow got super quiet, a big differance. I just hope that 6 1/2 it says on the limb is a starting point amd not the max.
