Newfoundland spring bear

Has anyone hunted with any outfitters in Newfoundland.? For spring bear?
Fair chase? Bait? Spot and stalk?
What was good about your hunt,What was bad...?
any information would be great...

I did not hunt bear with him but did hunt moose with Ray's Hunting and Fishing Lodge. I know Ray's clients take some great bears. The lodge and food cannot be beat.

I hunted with another outfitter who retired, but I also heard Ray's was a good time. Owl's Nest also had good reviews.

I have several friends that fish at Ray's Lodge.  They have been quite pleased.
