DEATHMASTER

If you find a show the Dwyers are at you can shoot his bows.
You know the craftmen they are and the quality of the work.
Great people to deal with also.
I had my heart set on a bamboo core but shot a elm core 100% better. Test and you may find.
That was a early bow had two and sold because I had THE bug. Should have kept the first and saved A LOT of money test out bows. GREAT shooting and feel.
Bob B. said it all.
Good luck on the search.

I have one of Dave's original longbow's, and it is a 66" with bamboo limbs. The riser is Macassor Ebony, and it is a beautiful bow. The craftsmanship is perfect, and the handle etc. are as good as it gets. I would certainly consider the 66" if your planning on target shooting. Very stable.

Good luck   :archer:

I just traded for a Dwyer Classic 68" 61@28 this past weekend. Beautiful bow and one of the smoothest longbows I've ever drawn. Never had one until now but can see another in the future. I normally shoot about 4-5#'s lighter in bow weight. I'm really impressed with it's performance.

I have one Dauntless and another on order.  Best longbows of the numerous brands previously owned.

I had an 68inch 57# @ 28 orginal. 68inches was just a bit too long for my liking. One of if not the smoothest and quietest longbows I have ever shot.  As said the Dwyers are fine people!  While I may get a HH in the near future a 66inch Dwyer orginal may still get the nod.
