Has anyone tried the collars from 3rivers on the axis ore skinny shafts?

Is there any other way to increase durability of the arrows to impact?

Yes...I've tried the collars from 3 Rivers...they do help it seems to me.  I don't have much problem with my Arrow Dynamics anyway....but the ones I used the collars on have lasted a long time with the judos.

I have not worried about them on my hunting arrows.(same arrow type just with bheads)

If you foot these arrows with a section of of aluminum arrow they are tough as nails. I have 5 of the original 6 that I made up over a year ago, and I am pretty sure I lost the 1 that is missing.

I footed some Beman MFX with a 1" piece of an aluminum shaft epoxied on the end.It made it a very tough arrow shaft, low cost when made from a scrap aluminum arrow.

Terry,

Were you using the stock internal insert with the collar added?

Which model Arrow Dynamic are you shooting?

Thanks,
Jason
