I am interested in a grip for my recurve. What do you recommend? Thanks.

I like a medium pistol grip.

do you mean a wrap vs slip on vs kinds of material?
or the overall shape/design of the bow grip itself?

Sorry guys, I meant a leather wrap of some sort. My hand tends to slip causing me to torque the bow. I would like a quality leather grip but don't really know much about them. Thanks.

Another option may be to have your grip checkered. My Schafer has a checkered grip and I prefer it over a leather grip...by far. Bow stays put in the hand. A number of bowyers do checkering and you can just send your bow to them. Dave Windauer at Schafer does his for $115, well worth it!

I'm looking at beaver tail to rewrap one of my grips right now.

I have checked out 3 Rivers. Are they basically all the same? One is just as good as the other?

if you put the grip in the pocket of your hand you wont have to worry about it.with that said on my metal riser recurve i used tennis raquet tape.cheap 5 bucks for 3 bow handles worth
i like biscuits

You might give Rod Wraps a try. They come in about every color and they don't leave any sticky residue on you bow when you take it off. There made for wrapping fishing rod handles, but they work good for bow's to! Jason

ya the fish wraps are the same as tennis wrap just more expensive
i like biscuits

I second the tennis racket grip tape, however if you want something a little stickier try baseball bat grip wrap. I have been using either one of these for a long time, works great!

I will second that.  I do not have any bows with it as of now, but I intend on changing that.
