KOM Bomber hat brim short enough for shooting ?

I'm looking for a good short brim warm hat for hunting.I wear glass so I need a brim but too long and it gets in the way. Anybody shoot with one of these ? Good or bad let me know.

Works great with mine too! Hasn't hurt my shooting one bit. On the other hand, it hasn't improved it either....

I hunt with mine in cold weather and also shoot in the yard with it because I don't have much hair. I had the bill pined back for the first years and the the sun was getting in my eyes, so I started shooting with the bill down and never notice it. I would buy the size big in case you want to wear it with a ball cap sometime when you are not shooting. Ken

No issues for me with the bomber hat. String barely touches and the brim is floppy enough to allow for that contact.

I like it. When shooting really long recurves, 68" and up I have to stitch the brim up. But otherwise no problem at all.

never have used the bomber but have lots of KOM stuff been happy with all of their stuff, but the best hat I have and works great when trad bowhunting in all types of weather is the wool crusher made by gray wolf woolens. Good Luck with your choice. Darrell
