He may go 151 next year. We'll be waiting for pic's of you and your quest! Good luck.

That's how it goes.  Woulda happened had you been out there without your bow as well.

Lot's of folks went all season without seeing anything in that class, bow or not. You did well being that close.

Hey Mike, sounds like a great place to hunt.  WMA's are very overlooked areas, especially in late season when most hunters are done for the year.  Duck season closes next week, and I'll be back in the deer woods in Feb.  Can't wait to get back at it.

Well Arky, take it from me there are some survivors. I'm from Conway as well, and if I still had a tag I'd be spending my time on Camp Robinson SUA, or Ed Gordon Point Remove. Great deer on both those places.

Nothing sad about that. I would rather have that memory that a memory of dragging an old doe out of the woods.

By the way kmc and arkie, I live in Conway as well about half of the time.

Sounds to me like you had an awesome scouting trip and you exercised your Bow by taking it for a long walk. I do this a lot myself, helps clear out the cob webs. Also you met next years possibilities. Good Luck Don

Mack,

I have already made plans with a hunting buddy of mine to put in a little legwork sometime next month in search of his sheds. It would be nice to know exactly how big he was, and dream about what he could be.

Hopefully he makes some more like him before you get him!
