I'm guessing that some folks will tell you that their is no such thing as a good quiver for a Hill bow, as a lot of guys like their Hills quiverless. If I get a bow quiver for my Hill bobcat, I'm thinking it would be an Anawakee angle quiver if it will fit the short riser. I like the way the quiver angles back toward the archer. If you lean the bow against a tree the arrow nocks won't dig into the ground. Pup

Lots of die hard Hill fans would consider a quiver on a Hill bow blasphemous.

Heh, Howard will roll over if you don't strap one of those massive quivers on your back!

I prefer a light bow and so generally keep my arrows either in a back quiver , side stalker or as of late a Safarituff Arrowmaster
[ gee I love that quiver ...still waiting to find a downside to it !]

As for bow quivers I have had good results with a Great Northern strap on and even better results with a Selway slide on [ they fit really snug and feel solid as .

Can't see using anything but my heavy leather BQ after getting it well broken in. But, I did use a beautiful leather Selway for awhile. Still have it. Trouble was, after taking it off I couldn't hit a mule in the ass w/a snow shovel. For me, it's just one more addon (that isn't needed) that can go wrong always at the worst time.

Don't shoot a hill style so take this for what it's worth but I've been really happy with my EFA quiver.  Very light and small more efficient space wise than others I've had.  It's worth giving them a look.

Some people like quivers on thier Hills, but it ruins the lightness and manuverability of the bow for me. Keep it as lite and small as possible to preserve as much of the feel as you can, keep it below the fades, and you should be happy.

Great Northern strap on quiver.  Never in my life would I have thought I would use those last 3 words in a sentence.

"strap on quiver" when talking Hill longbows it is almost pornographic.

One of the small Eagles Flight quivers will work well.

The problem I see is the riser is not as long as other bows.Especially if you put the quiver at the fadeouts and not on the working part of the limb.

finally someone mentions the "full"  working limbs of a true american hill style bow.  I would have to say if you had to use a quiver then just a skookum style with 1/2/3 arrows only.

this type of bow I'd say no quiver, unless you got decent flight out of every shot until all arrows are gone--> some people tune with a bow that has a quiver holding all but one arrow (the arrow being shot BUT they also need to check the 2nd from last arrow for any flight difference esspecially with Full working limbs.

Back Quiver or Hip Quiver for this type of bow I say.

Stick with the Back Quiver ya can't go wrong!
