A co-worker has a Bob Thompson Zipper he bought used around 1991.It is marked 66" 50lb.@29".brown laminated riser w/black glass limbs.Underneath Bobs name it has a #9.Very good condition w/few minor scratches. What is this bow worth and what would #9 stand for.

Give Bill Dunn a call and I bet he can give you some background information on the bow.  Bill and Tracy own the company now and are great folks, always taking time to visit and answer questions.

Yep, give Bill a call and/or post the question on the trad history/collecting forum. Good luck.

Not sure what it's worth, but it's my weight at my draw. Neat bow, would like to hear what you find out!
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Known Bob for 20+ years and beleive that is one of his very early bows.I saw one at Baltimore sum 10 years ago.Bob told me he built very few and for local freinds.
If Bill can't give much insight?Look Bob Thompson up.He's always looking for a conversation.
