JOEBO

I reciently acquired a Palmer bow and would like to know how the riser is cut in relation to center?
Thanks Joe

TRB

I think they are cut an 1/8th inch past center

I purchased a Palmer recurve from one of the Trad. members a couple of months ago, I think it is as TRB said 1/8" past center. The one I have is a double carbon and very fast. It shoots great, but was a little noisy so I ended up using the True ball spiders to quiet it down, the spider legs didn't help at all.

Good luck with yours.

  • Gordy Morey 2pc. 68" R/D 55# @ 28"
  • Hoyt Pro Medalist, 70" 42# @ 28" (1963)
  • Bear Tamerlane 66" 30# @ 28" (1966)- for my better half
  • Bear Kodiak 60" 47# @ 28"(1965)

To me it looks cut to center but it could be 1/8". I have the single carbon and love the bow.
