I have the honor of calling Ed Pitchkites a friend. He is someone I respect a great deal and his hunting stories are never ending! Today I recieved a package in the mail. Ed had sent me a copy of his book ( which I have read cover to cover and throughly enjoyed) that he had signed for me. Along with that he had sent me a couple of his famous dream catchers, a wonderful poem he had written, and a couple of tapes he had made me.

My friend is as genunine as they come, and I find myself just listening instead of talking on the phone when we talk, simply to soak in as much as I am able from a guy who has acomplished so much and really is "the salt of the earth"..  I only wish I would have known him 30 years earlier!

Thanks Ed, your one in a million!

Excellent! I hope Ed is doing well and in good health. How does one get one of his books?
"Always feel the wind, and walk just like the leaves".  ("LongBow Country"--Chad Slagle, "High, Wild, and Free").

This is kind of surreal to read for me Frass. Was leaving wednesday for a family death, and looking for some reading material.

I new I would have some time to read, and grabbed Ed's book from the drawer. It was the only thing I read, besides local paper, over the last few days!

I needed it for sure!

When I spoke with him this week, he just suprised me and came up with one. It almost sounded like he didn't have alot left anymore when we spoke, which doesn't suprise me seeing what a great book it is..

Ed is a true classic, that's for sure!  And one of the most generous people out there.

In the end, it is not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years. Abraham Lincoln.
