Everything I have and have become is due to the Lord and his great mercy.

Thanks guys. I left my home hunting area today to take a friend from church on his 2nd deer hunt. He has never killed a deer. We hunted about 20 miles from the house.

While I was out a hunter who hunts the place adjacent to mine killed a 152 (gross) 10-point. It was about 70 yards from one of my stands.  It bothers me some because I hunted 33 times and he hunted once but....this neighbor is 70 years old and has ephazema. He has been very fortunate to kill a 168 (net) and this 152 in the past 5 years. He says this was his last year. He came to my house for help with the deer but I was away with the boys as I stated above.

Oh well, there are still at least 2 more big ones that I know of that frequent the area I hunt.

Thanks rastaman!

By the way, the young man from church killed a 5-point buck and my son killed a doe - within 30 seconds of one another yesterday.

I still feel a little "sick" though having put my hands on the 152 (I green scored it)that came from less than 100 yards of TWO of my stands.
