I sent this to everyone on my list, including my 82 year old mother. Hope she doesn't want to start borrowing my bows. This touched my heart as it should everyone. with tears in my eyes, I wish God Bless America. I have nothing smart to say. I am humble. Fred

Wow that is powerfull.
I have friends that there young Canadian soldier is over in Afganistan and he called on Friday to tell his mom that he was ok and not hurt bad.  they first thought it was a bad break in his ankle but it turned out to be a bad sprain.  Would not say how or when it happened but within two hours they released through the media that another Soldier had been killed and one injured and the injured soldier had already talked with his family.  Name of injured was never given but I am positive it was him and his mom says wow another injured the same day as my son sprained his ankle.  I think there is more to than she is being told.
Scares the crap out of me.

Thanks to our American brothers and sisters as well as the Canadian Soldiers that are willing to fight for my rights.

After serving 20+ years in the Navy, (1978-1998) my son took the Bull by the Horns and joined the Marines at the start of the Irac war.  He has made 2 tours during the last 3 years. I want to thank all who have served in our Armed Forces, and the one who supported us back on the home front. I remember and I'll never forget what you have done for us.........DesertDude

Thank You Curt....

I'm not a US citizen...yet, but that still made me weep. Everyone that fights to protect justice and freedom, deserves every bit of respect. I had the honour of meeting a couple of US servicemen at Chigago airport on New Years Day. All three of us were leaving our loved ones, but I had the reassurence that I was just going back to a job, where I was pretty sure I'd come home safe from each night, unlike those two guys. I shook their hands and left them, feeling very humbled to have met them.
