Just curious.  Seems like I've seen pictures of Robertson longbows with what looks to be a 'flat' shelf.

I have a used Mystical where the shelf is 'dished'.  I'm wondering if someone took a file to it or not.

I had a Robertson Mystical,I think I remember the shelf was similar to that one but I don't think it was that deep.I could be wrong,it has been awhile since I traded it,a fine bow and shot great.

looks to me like a file was used on it,my friends Robertson bows looks nothing like that.

I have a Mystical built the last couple of days in 1991  and a Purist built about 5 or so years ago and they have similar shelfs.  Neither have been modified.
