Mike said they would continue to produce them until they found a buyer and then someone else will be manufacturing them.

QuoteHi all, i am making an announcement in regards to our traditional maseries and traditional original snuffer broadheads. We have decided to put these 2 lines of broadheads up for sale.
This in no way, shape or form means anything more than putting up 2 exisiting lines of broadheads we currently manufacture. We are focusing on our popular stinger and stinger buzzcut series of heads along with our bullhead series and our snuffer ss series. We also have a new broadhead in the works which will be available in 2012.

These 2 lines of broadheads will be up for sale until sold. we will continue to produce them until we have sold them. Serious inquiries only. Thank you all and have a great rest of the season.

On another forum, Magnus came out with an official statement that they don't have the time to devote to the Snuffer and are attempting to sell that product line to someone who will produce it.

So, from what I read, the snuffer continue to be produced, but at sometime in the future, it may be produced by someone other than Magnus.

I have no doubt production will continue but when the sale takes place it could take some time to start again and who knows.  The quality could improve or stay the same but it could also decline.  You just never know on a deal like that.

Mike made that announcement here too, but the thread is gone.

Magnus was also producing the Stos head (mentioned above I know)... I thought they were still making the Woodsman too?

To some a Snuffer is a Snuffer, the stainless welded model (by simple name) included in group with the brazed traditional models.
Twist it up, don't pluck, marinate then grill.

**DONOTDELETE**

I disagree on that... the Snuffer SS is only 125grn so it's no way close to a Big Bad 160 Snuffer.. but the SS are more so for them Wheelie bows.

Hookeye

The statement offers nothing for disagreement.

It is a simple fact that some folks don't know that there are different models bearing a "Snuffer" name in whole or part.

Just because you and I know of the differences, that doesn't mean that others do. For some wheelie or newb trad guys, they only know of the SS.

Seen it at the shop. Big pack of black glue ons, or screw ins, younger guys going ???????? They never knew such beasts existed.

at one point i was going to buy the glue on and snuffer line, but was quickly talked out of it from my family..i hope whoever buys it keeps it in the states and employs american citicans..mike will be keeping the stinger line bullheads and snuffer ss.
