I think a guess of 19-20 inches inside is a fair estimate. As far as letting him grow another year goes, I say THROTTLE him if you get a chance. He is clearly a P&Y buck and most hunters would be thrilled to kill him!

18 5/8" inside spread - 8 3/8" drop tine ,      129 2/8" gross.  now go get him and lets see how close i got.
