FIRST BUCK,FIRST BOW KILL,WITH A RECURVE THANK'S (OINON'S) FOR LENDING ME THAT BOW !!

I GOT IN MY STAND AT4:30 RIGHT ON THE EDGE OF A MARSH.I DOE GRUNTED A FEW TIME'S BUT NOTHING.ABOUT 30MIN LATER ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MARSH I SEEN A TALL SPIKE AND A WHAT LOOKED LIKE A 4 POINT.I DOE GRUNTED BUT NOTHING.THEY WALKED THE EDGE BACK AND FORTH BOTH STOPING AND RUBBIN ON THE SAME TREE.SO I SWITCHED TO YUNG BUCK AND GRUNTED STILL NOTHING.THEN A BUCK RAN THREW THE MARSH BEHIND ME AND A DOE TO THE LEFT OF ME.BUT I DIDNT GET A GOOD LOOK AT THAT BUCK AND KEPT WATCHING THE TWO ON THE EDGE OF THE MARSH. MY BUDDY WAS ON THE SIDE THAT THE TWO BUCK'S WHERE ON.I HEARD HIM DOE GRUNT AND THEY STARTED WALKING TO HIM SLOWY.SO I SWITCHED TO MATURE BUCK GRUNT AND HIT IT.SOON AS I HIT THE MATURE GRUNT THEY BOTH STARTED TOWRD'S ME ON A TROT.THEY CAME IN ABOUT 30-35 YARD'S IN FRONT OF ME.NOT WANTING TO SHOOT THAT DIST BUT I LET ONE GO AT THE TALL SPIKE AND JUST UNDER HIM!!DARN!   HE RAN OFF BUT THE OTHER STAYED SO I SHOT AT HIM THINKING AME HIGH AND JUST OVER HIS BACK AND RAN BACK TO THE OTHER SIDE WHERE I FIRST SEEN HIM.SO I STARTED GRUNTING(MATURE)   HE TURNED AND CAME BACK TOWERD'S ME.HE CAME IN 25YARD'S!! HE TURNED BROADSIDE I PULLED BACK AND HE TURN'S AWAY THREW THE BUTT MY ARROW WENT.HE WAS LATER DEAD ON SCENE...THANK'S TO ARWIN AND (OINON'S)THANK'S FOR EVERYTHING (OINON'S)FOR LETIN ME USE THE BOW AND ARWIN FOR SETIN ME UP IN A GREAT SPOT!!!!!!!

I guess there's always room for "friendly competitive bowhunting". I've never heard of hunting buddies trying to call deer away from one another but heh, adding the element of competition makes it even harder! Congrats on your buck...you look pumped...and "hardcore" too!
