Peeling Snakeskins

A friend has snakeskins on his bow and says they are starting to lift up on the edges. I know nothing about taking care of a bow with skins but am asking you for any advice on how he can correct his problem. Also, once he gets them glued[?] back down, what can/should he apply to them to protect and keep this from reoccuring? Any suggestions will be appreciated

Use titebond glue or super glue, then I use tru oil to protect them

I use superglue also to do the lifting edges. I use a wallpaper edge roller to get them down nice and tight. Often apply it on the end of a toothpick so that I don't put on too much.
You can even use plain old mink oil, montana pitch blend, butcher's wax, a coat of satin varathane, etc. for a finish. True oil is great. It is leather so you can use any of these. I had a Hoyt Pro Medalist with rattlesnake on it for about 8 years with only pitch blend on them as a finish. Never failed on me.

Use a suringe like the ones for meats.Inject Tie bond 111 if it's losen up enough to get the needle under it.Let dry then I use super glue on the edges.
