I believe you should consult you local CO and have him stop at the suspects house and ask a few questions.  I know for a fact here in Indiana you can be sentenced to long jail terms and hefty fines for harassing hunters.  Like mentioned earlier Id hate to see someone get hurt badly, but I have a hard time thinking Id be able to control myself if I caught this tool in the act of doing this.

the trail camera sounds like a good plan- and using treesteps that you take down and leave the camera up high- you can get some pictures that I would use to prosecute the person(s).

Thanks for the input guys the "suspect" in mind is the landowners shiftless son -in -law who thinks he's the landowner. He's never worked since i've known the land owner and has nothing to do all day long except this type of thing!

You and me both! Tie him up to a tree, then spray his crotch down with charcoal lighter then leave him there screaming like a little girl. By the time he gets loose and makes it home he will be galded so bad he will walk bow legged for about a week.
I really hate to hear stories like this. It just makes me sick to my stomach and my head hurt.
BTW- don't take my advice on the torture, that will just get you thrown in jail, but it did sound like sweet revenge didn't it.

If I were you, I would just move somewhere else to hunt. Simple fact is that he's the landowner's son and just making an accusation about his boy could get you kicked off the property anyway, anything more than that will get you a trip in a patrol car......so it's better left alone.
Unless the landowner is a reasonable man, then I would bring it up to him and let him deal with his own son.    
Or better yet, find a lady friend of yours and have her start calling his house a few times a day, that will get him in dutch with his wife.

As said above..infra-red type camera...no flash to give location away or ...pfftt!

Something tall with out limbs. We made wedge blocks to angle the camera downward and jammed the wedge behind the camera and cynched it up for regular use to keep it high and still pointing down reliably!

Good luck. Saturate the area with fall blend spray...neutralizes and smells like dirt. I like robbinson labs version personally...other smells like grandmas apple crisp w/ cinnamon!

Plenty of boobs here in NJ. I would try scratching up the ground to let the earth "breath" and let the smell disapate(sp?)then some baking soda/peroxide mix in a pump sprayer, soak it down good.

Jersey is full of deer, try another spot for a while.

P.S. Did you work at Scientific Glass in Bloomifield?

WOW! not sure about you but here in Michigan we have hunter harrassment laws that would apply to this type of situation to prosecute someone for tresspass and harrassment.  I would get with a Game Warden and ask what your options are.  Yes set up a camera and get this resolved asap that is ridiculous.  Remember to keep calm and you will prevail. Sad story. I'd move the stand. Anything you put on it will most likely make it worse. I woudl report it to the game warden however.
