I just recieved a new to me Pronghorn 3 piece takedown. The bow is 62" and 54# @ 28".
Man these are sweet bows. I had no idea.
Anyway can someone tell me the recomended brace height for this bow.

Thanks
John

SCATTERSHOT

Herb doesn't really recommend a brace height. Mine shoots well at 7 3/8".

You will love that bow.

My 60 inch shoots best at 6 and 7/8.

John, I received my 60" T/D from Herb 2 days ago. With it he sent a Care for Your Pronghorn fact sheet. On it he specifically wrote that it liked a BH of 6 3/4" to 7 " and the nock should be at least 1/4" above square.  I'm shooting mine at 7"......Fred
Do not follow where the path may lead.  Go, instead, where there is no path and leave a trail.

WRV

I have a 62" 50@28 that I brace at 7 1/4" with the nocking point at 1/2" since I shoot three under.......Randy

Thanks guys.
Hey Fred I saw the pictures of your new Pronghorn. It sure is a nice looking bow.
Did you ever sell the other one?

John, Yep I sold the 62" a while ago. They are great shooting bows.

I have a few Proghorns and just double checked they all are braced 7-7 1/4.
