I made the trip years ago.

There is a Crispy Creme doughnut place in town that you can talk into letting you buy real "hot out of the fryer" jelly filled doughnuts before they get filled.

Those things literally melt in your mouth! I also never got to sleep that night with the sugar rush I had going on.

It sure didn't help any that we were eating them at 2am...lol

I wish I could make it again, maybe someday.

Flint Ridge Knap-in Flint ridge park near Brownsville

The OSTA state shoot is in Jackson Ohio that weekend. Lot's of guys will be there, myself included. I don't know where flint ridge is but if it's possible maybe some could try to make both events.

Sorry, I didn't see that you had posted where it was. Jackson is about 1 1/2 - 2 hrs. south of that.

Browsville is actually on rt 40, not sure what would be the closest exit off of I70. Usually well marked on 40 so it should be easy to find.
