Due to work reasons my hunting partner had to back out of the trip yesterday. Our plans were to drive to Durango and hunt unit 74 which I hunted with an outfitter for the past 2 years. It was to be my first DIY my partners 6th time. Now my plans are totally up in the air. I am looking for another person or group that may be in the same situation or plans of their own that I can part take in. I would like to drive to Colorado instead of fly but flying to Denver and hunting a near by OTC unit would not be out of the question and would split all rental costs etc; I am also willing to drive my truck from NY splitting the gas of coarse.

I still have a back up plan which is to fly to Durango and meet another person from Texas and basiclly camp at a campsite and hunt from camp near Purgatory ski resort but do to the last minute booking of flights and rental is costly. He is doing me the favor as he has been hunting the area on and off for 6 years and the airport is on his way. He is going regardless with or without me. That is Plan C.

I would rather save some money on the flights and go to Denver only or drive. So is their anybody leaving the New York area that is doing a DIY trip in a OTC unit and wants to split costs and have some company on the trip. I have all my gear and in shape for the trip. I can travel at any time no restrictions except for the flights. Stay as long as needed. The original plan was to go the 25th to the 7th but any dates are fine.

Please feel free to send me a PM with help or questions.

Thanks Rob
