BW PSAX 62" in Kingwood. I asked the bw guys for darker veneers.
Will be a 6 to 8 week wait. It's gonna be tough.

If anybody has any bows in kingwood I would really appreciate some pics. Might ease the pain of waiting.   :banghead:

Yeah I agree coaster, just not easy after test driving a curly maple psax for a few days.

Man was it a beautiful bow.   :jumper:

Kingwood will make even a Widow look halfway presentable.   :knothead:

I was really pleased when I got my PSAX Kingwood in 2004. Still one of the most beautiful bows I have ever seen. I can't post pictures but I'll try and describe it as best I can. The riser wood goes from black to a honey amber color as do the limbs. The figure in the limbs are half moons that are contained within the limbs and go from tip to limb block. Black Widow did a really great job of matching the laminations. Specs are 60" 49@28. Hope your bow turns out just as good!

Kingwood is a great choice! I have about 3 more weeks to go. PCHX seems like i just ordered it. TD.

Denny the half moons that you described in the limbs are one of the reasons I liked it   :bigsmyl:
