I'm shooting heritage 250 out my 55# Martin. 522gr what's a good arrow and weight for my Montana 45 #. Hunting set up.

What is your draw length and what point weight do you want to shoot?  A Montana should normally shoot a spine that matches the bow weight in a 28" arrow with a 125 gr point.  A longer arrow and/or heavier point will need a higher spine.

I like at about 11 gr/lb or 500 gr total weight, whichever is more, and your Montana will handle that just fine.

I draw 28 but like to shoot 30 inch  arrows 125 up front can I still shoot my heritage 250s with 125 head total wt. 520

That should be like an 80 pound spine on that arrow set-up.  That should be way to stiff for either bow.  You can try the spine calculator, it will get you close if not right on.

I'm thinking some arrows spined at 500 or even weaker for a 45 pounder. Maybe try some heritage 150's cut long or the heritage 90's. For some reason, I always have better luck with arrows spined weaker than I think I should need.

Have just finished bare shaft tuning a 45# Monatana. My draw is also 28 inches. MFX500's @ 28.75" with 200 gn points are working very nicely.
