TP sure works better than pages out of the old Sears catalog.  :)

My 6 year old grandson, Ben, kept asking me, "Paw-Paw, why do you keep toilet paper in your truck all the time?"

So, I took him with me to set up some stands last fall. He learned first hand why Paw-Paw keeps toilet paper in the truck. And I didn't even have to tell him.    :saywhat:

I also use toilet paper for blood trailing. along with my GPS and those plastic glow sticks that you flex and they start to glow. another good trick is to keep a spray bottle in you vehicle filled with hydrogen peroxide. if things get really tough you can spray those little red spots and if they foam up you know its blood.

TP is all I've ever used. It's also a great way to tell if the little drop you're looking at is really blood.
I have a free roaming, ranging mind -- sometimes it reports back to me...

Gotta say that blood trailing is the only reason I keep it in my pack. Way to spoiled to wet wipes for the obvious reason one carries it.
Reason I don't generally carry any is it's only use is blood trailing.  Unscented wet wipes are backcountry baths and, etc...

But a great tip for sure.  Though I personally don't follow those trails unless I laid them myself, could be less of a "blood trail" and more of a "bad smell"...

Good stuff.
Give me a bow a topo and two weeks, and I guarantee I kill two weeks!
