Been using florescent lime for awhile but thinking of 'going pink' as it shows up better...and I might finally be man enough.   ;)

chartruese and bright yellow work best for me

My long standing color combo (for at least two decades) has been:

White nock.

White cock feather.
Upper hen red barred.
Lower hen black.
Twist it up, don't pluck, marinate then grill.

When I used to shoot 3ds with wheelies everybody use black wraps with black vanes and black nocks to not give advantage to the archer shooting after you.

Now shooting 3d traditional no one seems to care about that...................how cool is that !!!   :archer:
I never understood that, as looking an a competitor's error, although providing a clear object to aim at, it is unlikely to be "dead center" very often. I would rather someone aim at my off center arrow than aim at the bull's eye.
Until next time...good shooting,

Van, I didn't think you would be the kind of person to push an arrow in a target like that and then take a picture of it. LOL. Just kidding. Nice shot. Looks dead center to me.

If my buds shoot a good arrow you bet I fixate on that arrow's nock!

It can be a great focus aid and make for equally good shooting (sometimes really good as I've blasted nocks off on the 3D range). With today's carbons that means there's a good chance of the recipient arrow being ruined.

Standard practice then is to buy the victim a coke at the halfway house or at lunch break. Yeah it's not much considering the cost of an arrow, but then maybe your buds shouldn't shoot so good and tempt you ;-)

My best group today at 15 yards. Ran out of red barred so went with orange onhand.

I've found "blue" is a fletch color that I see better than most.

KEG

2 orange and 1 yellow with flo orange nock.

Orange wraps with orange feathers, very easy to follow your arrow  :archer2:
