I just received a Neet Traditions glove today that I ordered from 3rivers and I'm wondering if anyone who has or is using this glove can give me some advise. It's pretty bad weather here today so I only got to shoot with it for about 15 minutes and I'm getting a bittersweet feeling about it.  The pads are much thicker than I thought they were going to be and really stiff.  The cordovan leather gives a real nice release which I'm happy with.  I'm just wondering how well this thing breaks in, and will it always slip around on my fingers after release?

i have been shooting these for several years. they are great gloves. do take some time to break in unless u have some montana pitch. and usually the sewn strings on the finger pads usually wear out quick. i just stick some super glue under there and work it in. seems to work fine.

I too shoot and like this glove. It does take a bit of break in. I have tried the old soak it in water and then wear till dry trick. Not too much water, just good and damp. As it drys, it will form to your fingers. After this I second the Montana Pitch Blend treatment.

saddle soap works great to soft up the leather. its hard to beat these gloves for the money!

i don't know if i have the same neet glove.mine is very soft, stays put,and i can feel the string.i love mine.i don't think mine is cordovan leather,it's alot softer i think.probably won't last as long.good luck with the break in,steve

I really liked these gloves and used them for years, I also agree about the break in period. Until it has been shot for a while it is stiff.

Been shooting one for years. I try other gloves and tabs. But when it's time for brown on the ground it's my neet glove on my hand.

I started shooting in 2007 and the only glove i've ever owned is a neet traditional, best gloves ever...

We have one (my son bought it and didn't like it) and I *want* to like it because it looks so cool. It's a comfortable glove but when I'm at anchor, it feels like my drawing hand is a mile away from my face.

Guess I'm just a tab guy.
