anyone try the new dryad epic ILF.  I am stuck between several morrison, dryad, sky ect.  I really like the look of the dryad.

I shot some at Compton and ordered a Dryad 15" riser w/med.recurve limbs. The grip felt really good on the Dryad w/the right amount of mass weight in the riser for me. I was surprised at how quiet it was with no silencer on the string. I can't wait to get mine, should be here in Aug.. Give Mike a call with any questions you might have, Good luck!

i have some of the epic longbow limbs on a 25" Win Win riser. the bow is solid black. and it is nice. 68" 40# at my 30" draw. 180fps. i really like the limbs for a hybrid limb.

Thanks, I shoot a belcher patriot with ssr limbs and want a backup bow that I can get limbs for anywhere.  If I want lighter limbs for my belcher I have to order them and have them made.  With the ILF, I can get limbs off the shelf if I want to go lighter or heavier.

I just got a Sky 15" riser with windstorm limbs and I love it. Feels really good, one of the best grips I've tried. The bow is really quite and shoots where you look. I've not tried the others but I am not going to let this one go. I'm like you. I like the thought of being able get limbs easily and to make the bow different lengths.

I just got one of Bob's 17" metal risers in the mail yesterday, looks and feels good. Waiting on some TT carbons to arrive now and some strings from Chad. ILF is an interesting concept and the abiility to swap limbs out inexpensively, change grips, shoot with a rest v. shelf, feather v. vane, are all variables that should be fun to play around with.

Hunting with the bow and arrow involves earning your way by making meat, getting your hands messy in the process and then recognizing your own reflection upon them.

Oh yeah it is a real blast being able to go from a longbow to recurve limbs on the same riser. I love my Morrison Mini Metal and the Morrison Carbon foam longbow limbs, Sky recurve limbs and when I want to go real light my Samick Universal Carbon limbs. It is like having three bows.
