Gonna be in your area this weekend. Is there any ranges, shoots, or good tradgang shops that could fill up a Saturday.

I'm not from springfield, but they do have a BASS PRO there. They have a wildlife museum and many other things to saunter through if you are looking to kill time!

Wildlife museum at Bass Pro is still closed for renovation.  Black Widow is in Nixa, just a few minutes south of Springfield

Commitment is like bacon & eggs; the chicken is involved, but the pig is committed....

I believe Black Widow Bows is only open Monday thru Friday. Bass Pro Shop has a whole bunch of the Fred Bear Museum items on display. It's very worthwhile to see.

I'm not in Springfield any longer and haven't lived there for years so I can't tell you much that hasn't already been said but if you're driving and find yourself on Hwy 63 north of Jefferson City and south of Columbia you'll be passing me by, that is unless you decide to stop in and fling a few arrows with me.
You'd sure be more than welcome!

God bless,Mudd

Archery isn't something I do, it's who I am!
The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

Mike Yancey

Randy I am three hours from there, plenty of stuff to shoot here.

You really haven't hunted the old fashion way until you've done it from one of these Indian houses.(The Tipi) "Glenn ST. Charles"

There are two shooting ranges at the Bois D'Arc Conservation area near Willard, MO. That's about 6 miles north of Springfield. I shoot out there every month with the FlatRock Trad club. Here's a link for more info. PM me if you need anything else. I gotta singing gig to do Saturday but will be around Sunday.

Well there is:Andy Dalton Conservation Area Shooting Range
The Andy Dalton Shooting Range includes a 100-yard, baffled, rifle/pistol range with 20 covered booths. Two of these meet Americans with Disabilities Act. As well as a 3D range for archery

I live here too, and to my knowledge all the Fred Bear stuff is still "under construction", as is the Wildlife Museum.  Go with what dhaverstick said, Bois D'Arc.

There is a Shoot in Mountain Grove on Saturday.  Its an hour South East of Springfield.  Thats where I will be.
Sights, SIGHTS, we don't need no stinkin sights!!!!!
