Hey Guys

Looking for some input on trail cameras that wont break the bank.  I had two wildview cameras and they were pretty fair but thought I would ask the forum.  Ideally would like to keep them around 50-75 bucks a piece so I can get a couple.

I currently own 3 versions of Cuddeback, 2 Moultries, 1 Stealth, a Wildgame Innovations Flash Model, and a Wildgame Innovations IR4.

In my opinion, the best overall value is the IR4.
It operates on 4 c cell batteries and they have a pretty long life.  It is easy to program and takes decent pictures.  It costs less than $100.

The quality of the camera is nowhere near that of a $200 or $300 model but if you take reasonable care of it I don't see that as a disadvantage.  I would not recommend the flash model because it eats batteries.

If it is on public land I would go cheep. I have two wildveiw I bought on sale $25 each and 35mm one I bought for $5. I know there are better one out there but the pictures are good enough for me.I had a friend that lost $600 worth of cameras last year, unfortunately not everyone just smiles and waves when the find a trail cam. I like to give them the sasquatch pose.

I'm w/ bama...
I have Scoutguard, Leaf River, Covert, and 2 of the WGI IR4 cameras.
The only one that fits your budget is the IR4 model around $75-$80.  Battery life is around 2 weeks....doens't matter if you get 1200 pics or 20...battery life is around 2 weeks.
I was very impressed w/ these cams last year as I bought 2 and covered twice the ground.  They are bare bones...no deleting pics, formatting cards, etc.  Easy to use function keys...no frills and limited options.
Night pic quality is on par w/ the $200 SG and DLC cams I have, but days can be a little discolored or hazy, but I'm not out to take framed pics..just scout deer.

My pick for you...
Backwater Bowfishing Pro Staff.
MossyOak Pro Staff.
They can have my bow when it's pried from my cold dead fingers.

Helpful info.  I need to add to the fleet.

I own 2 Cuddebacks and 6 Scoutguards. Have played with friend's lower end models (StealthCam and Moultrie) purchased on sale at the big box stores.

I realize it they are more than you were looking to spend, but I REALLY like the Scoutguard. Great pictures, long battery life, compact size. Last year, I purchased 4 additional Scoutguards as I was really impressed with their performance.

I bought a couple of Moultrie D-40 cameras last year. They are about $89 full retail but you can find them for $50-75 if you work at it. Higher pixels than some of the other less-expensive models--the pictures are really clear. I'm happy with them.

I have a cheap digital moultrie.
I have had to send it back to them every year for 5 years for repair/replace.
Just stops working.
They have been very good to deal with. The warranty is refreshed each time.

Just a real pain in the arse.
