Saw a 66"(was) Widow x-99 ,# 9206 at the bow shop, someone brought it in to get a string made.

It was cut down to about 48"     with some grooves hacked into the sides with a small saw. The limbs were probably 12" past the fades. "WAS" a beaut of a bow!

It said Wilson Bros.,Springfield , MO on the white glass.

Just curious how old it is.....
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Kenny,

They were in Spokane for quite awhile before they moved to Nixa. I don't remember when they moved but I know Roger, John and Toby all worked for Ken in Spokane. The old building is still sitting right there on Hwy. 160

I started going to the Spokane shop late 70's early 80's, My sister lived right by them and it seems like the moved to Nixa in the mid/late 90's.

Ken Beck lived over by my mom off the finley river. I saw him out shooting one of his bow in his yard testing out a new quiver before a moose hunt. He is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Not sure when they were in Springfield though.

You really haven't hunted the old fashion way until you've done it from one of these Indian houses.(The Tipi) "Glenn ST. Charles"

When I first visited Black Widow in early 1980's, Ken Beck was the owner and their shop was in Highlandville, MO. Clint

Thanks guys! I just figured the bow woulda been a collector if they hadn't hacked it off!  I hope it had a broken limb before it was cut!!
Stay sharp, Kenny.
