I have a dozen GT shafts and ordered 5/16 50 grain brass inserts.  I know the I/D of goldtips is a little bit larger than most other carbons.  The inserts just fall into the shaft with no effort.  Will this be ok?  Just wondering before I glue them in.

I don't have any problems with them.  Glue takes up some space.  They spin and fly good for me.  I use hot melt so if they don't I can adjust.

Shawn I've been using the 5/16 brass inserts for a few years now, they have always fit pretty much that way. I use Gorilla super glue (impact-tough),I sand the insert just a little and the shaft, and clean with lacquer thinner.

I just mounted a dozen of the exact inserts in some gold tip 5575's with great success. Spin perfect. You'll be fine.
