I was wondering if anyone has shot the three piece longbow from jack kempf, I believe called the Raven?

I have only seen one picture, and was wondering if anyone has one or had pictures they could share or email to me?

Thank you

Gordon martiniuk

Gator 1 Yes I have shot a couple of Ravens ,, Mels & Also Jacks ,, shot good with long bow limbs , never shot one with recurve limbs,, still my Favorite is a Stealth followed closely by The Kwyk Styk, if you like long bows the Little Grizzly flat bow may be the Dark Hoarse of Jacks fine Bows very stable smooth ,

I believe our buddy Sergio Venneri has a Raven coming soon....same riser, interchangable limbs for longbow and recurve, nice feature.

However....I agree with Gord...love my Stealth too much to ever part with it....LOL..and Jacks one piece longbows aren't too shabby either when it comes to performance.
"Neal...is this heaven?" "No Piute but we are dam close". Top of the Mtn in Medicine Bow Nat Forest.

Hello !

Can one of you Kempf bow shooters give me his email address? I would like to find out what the wait time is for a bow. I know it is worth the wait . But just how long!

Thanks Ken

Joe Skipp is the dealer for Jack's bows here in the U.S. Go to the directory here and send him a PM. He has always promptly answered any question that I have had. In fact I just got through communicating through a PM this morning on the bow I am ordering and he replied back right away.  The price through him is the same as going through Jack.

Joe Skipp knows his stuff and can really help dial in the kind of bow you want from Jack.

I have a little Grizzly. Its a nice bow. Smooth and stable. Just came out a bit light for me. Don't use it for my serious hunting just yet.
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

I received my Raven from Jack a short time ago . I asked for it un- finished , because i have some tricking up to do on it . However initial shooting  o f the Raven has proved to me again , that Jack is an amazing Bowyer! The bow with longbow limbs is very well behaved,is  stable , speed to burn, and Smoooth !
I'll post before pics over the next day or 2 . the specs are , 58" 58# @ 28".   :clapper:    :clapper:

Thought I would bring this back up since I'm on Jack's waiting list for a Raven 3pc longbow.
