Hi!
I`ve been looking on the beautiful PHC bows from Black Widow and have a question regarding longer draw lengths:

My draw length is near to 31" and I am wondering if any of you tradgangers with the same draw length shoots the PHC (if so wich bow length)and does it stack or give some kind of finger-pinch?

Thanks
Margly

Just this weekend I had a chance to handle Flt Rck Shtr's 56" PCH. I have a 30" draw and usually cannot get by with less than a 60" bow. The PCH, however, proved otherwise. I also played around with his buddy's and can say I had absolutely no pinch at my draw length. They draw absolutely smooth.

Good day,

I don't get the obsession with short bows and finger pinch and smoothness have nothing to do with it.  Just picture your release hand at full draw with a PCH and (to prove my point) a 70 inch bow.  Viper calls it string angle.  I say think of how much MORE string is on your fingers with a 60 inch bow.  Which bow is going to give you a cleaner release?

The "obsession", as you call it, is not that difficult to comprehend.

The tallest blind I have used is 72". While kneeling with a 60" bow I have to be very aware of the amount of cant I need to allow for limb clearance. I don't like to split my concentration any more than neccessary.

Using a hang-on one must be aware of the platform-to-seat cables and the seat itself if a shot is presented anywhere on either side.

If using a ladder stand one must be aware of any side rails and the seat.

So, although I have never hunted with shorter than a 60" bow I can see the benefit of having a well-shooting shorter bow for certain situations.

Margly i have shot both the 58in and the 60 Pch and with your 31in draw the 60in would be a lot more comfortable.

My draw lendth is 30in and i ordered a 58in but that 60in is a little smoother but i just wanted the shortest bow i could shoot well, and the 58in fit me just fine.

By the way that PCH is a rocket launcher and i cant wait to get mine.
