Need some suggestions for dyes and dye color combinations

I've got a hickory backed osage longbow that I want to dye in some sort of sunburst configuration, where the colors blend into each other along the length of the bow.  I was orginally thinking of the classic black/red/yellow combination, but I'm open to suggestions.  Also any suggestions on best dyes to use would be welcome.

Go and take a picture(or search one on the internet)of the sun setting you can get a pretty good pic and some amazing color configurations.
