I have been shooting mfx classics 500s.  Expensive. Recently bought a couple dozen gold tip blems from sponsor here and wondering can I go with same length of arrow if the setup is the same.

What size shafts did you pick up 55-75   75-90 ??
It's not the size of the game you take that means Success!
It's the experience of pursuing game that give true Outdoor Success!!!!!

According to Stu's calculator MFX Classic 500's and GT 35/55's are nearly identical in spine. Your mileage may vary though.

Also.... With the GT's you are able to add weight to the front end of the arrow with their screw in weight system even after the arrow is built.

Even though they are very close in spine, they are different diameters. You should still bareshaft tune at full length and trim and tune from there.

Don't cut without testing.  And beware the calculator. Its sometimes right on, and sometimes misses by a mile.
