Great Northern Quivers

I have two quick detach quivers for take down recurves, but I addapted one with straps so I can mount it on one piece recurve. For packing into remote areas for a couple of weeks I just piggy-back them on the trip in so I have 10 arrows in camp. I then just take one off and hunt out each day with 5. I did however, shoot a coyote during one of my pack outs while both quivers were side mounted. They work great for Woodsman broad heads. Mike

I have two. The one on my Widow is actually a RH quiver on my LH bow (quick detach limb bolt model) - this keeps the quiver in line with my riser instead of jutting towards the string. It does make getting the arrows out that are inside towards the riser though. However, mine is a 5-arrow quiver. I consider the back 2 arrows spares anyway.

I like my norherns. I have Thunderhorn also and like it -- riser mount screws.  I only shoot recurves and don't like the strap-on style quiver. Even though I have these quivers, I may not use them to hunt with (a couple of my favorite recurves don't have limb bolts or riser threads). I don't like the change in weight and balance of a bow quiver. I'll likely use a hip-quiver.

GN quivers have been carrying my arrows for over 15 years.  I've tried a few others, but keep coming back to the GN.  I do bend the lower wire so the fletch will come back inside the bow.

Great idea, Mike! I have two and love them both. I've tried lots of quivers over the yrs. but GN fits my needs best.

I have 3 and have no complaints whatsoever.  Don't know that you could ask for a better piece of equipment.  It does what it was designed to do and it does it in great fashion.

Have a couple of strap on and a side mount I use on my Bear T/D wood risers.

Love 'em. Have 3 of them. My only complaint; the non-adjustable longbow model is too short for full length arrows. Too much arrow hanging out past the gripper causing vibration. I hope to modify it this year by buying an extra arm from Rick and turning in into an adjustable model.
