A question about the Browning Rover Recurve

I have a chance to purchase a Browning Rover Recurve 45lbs.  Seems to be in pretty decent condition.  No apparent cracks with the exception of one about 1.5 inches running up the belly in the first layer.  Got the seller to pull it back for me as I did not want to myself plus had hand surgery and pulling back a bow is not in the equation right now.  He is asking $30 for it.  What are your thoughts.  This bow is for my 17 year old son, not a serious hunter nor shooter but does want to get into it.  ??
A bad day of hunting is still far better than a good day at work.

I saw one go off for $85 on the auction site ...$30 sounds like a good deal to me

Just squirt some thin super glue in the crack and should be good. I think the Browning bows are way underrated, seem faster and smoother to me than Bear bows of the same period.
