Does anyone know who supplies/makes the 12" foam thowing disks?  I have talked to some of the retailers but they told me they didn't know who manufactures them.  I wanted to inquire about some custom stuff.

Three Rivers sells them, don't know who makes them. But I hear you can get similar foam at like Hobby Lobby and make your own.

Do you plan to through them by hand?

3 Rivers was one of the retailers I called.  Looking at different options to be thrown by hand and mechanically.  I think the hobby foam would be an expensive option.

Get one of the kid's foam body boards from Wally World.  You should be able to get two from one board.  Bill

Apperantly foam targets have nothing to do with trad bow hunting. I started a topic today about foam targets and it was deleted. Moderator said foam targets have nothing to do with trad bow hunting.
...you might look at those large foam insulation boards at home depot you can cut a bunch of disks from that.

It's not about the kill but the experience.

TRY DINKS FEATHER SHOP HE IS A TRADGANGER AND THEY ARE REASONABLE.

I make them out of cardboard by tracing around a dinner plate and Elmer's gluing as many as I want together. They fly far better than any foam I have seen and it would be easy to cut out some funky shape if that is what you are after.  You could glue first then bandsaw a shape too.

Here ya go. Try one of these. Not too expensive either. I thnk there is an error in the dimensions. I'm pretty sure it should read 12x12x2.

I like using a lot of different types of targets.  The nerf type footballs work well and are especilly difficult bouncing on the ground.  Cardboard is also cheap, versitile, and effective.

Thanks bisch for the link to the Hips Targets.  They look pretty good.
