QUESTION FOR ALL YOU GREAT TRAD GANG BOWYERS

Just like to pick your brains folks.        Not only as being a hard on tools, dense wood, but a wood that you have to worry about drying cracks, etc etc ?? Just curious.        The good folks at Trad Gang that purchase bows ,I guess don't realize  this.        THANKS!        bentpole>>>>~~~~~>

Ok, what are your favorites to work with? I'm just curious, am I am making you bowyers happy or crazy

I love bubinga and granadillo for risers.  Both are very dense and strong, can be found with beautiful grain, and works easy.

ebony is the worst.  dymondwood is also hard on tools.  cocobolo and bocote are hard on sanding belts because they gum them up.

I don't likle ebony, because it's costly and I'm alergic to it.  I don't like ipe because I'm extremely allergic to it.  

I like the way they both look, I just domn't like the way they try to kill me.
