I was just wondering if anyone has tried out any of the new Sky bows - recurve or long bows.

Some years ago I bought a Sky Hawk from Earl - well actually it was his wife who sold it to me.  It was a decent bow, although I had a bit of trouble bare shaft tuning it for awhile.  Then I moved on, sold my Hoyt and tried other bows in pursuit of the "golden fleece of speed".  Then once I got that out of my system, and settled back to the more forgiving set-ups.
I was looking at the new web site and thinking back about the old Hoyt Sky Hawk again.  And just wondering if any of you have tried out the new bows from Sky.
The metal riser TDX looks interesting, and tempting to tinker around with - but maybe dangerous for me to head down the path of tinkering for ever more speed and performance ..........

Shot them at KaZoo. Very nice. The bows shot quick and smooth, and I liked the mass in the metal risers. Wish there would've been more of the 1 piece bows to try, but I'm hoping I'll get a chance at them at Compton's.   :archer2:

Excellent bows from an excellent bowyer.  Give Jim a call.  I have shot a lot of the Sky bows at Jims shop.  I am sure he will have one that will fit your needs.  Just need to try em out.  Good luck.
