After the first thread I went back to the drawing board. Here's a few more designs for everyone to check out.

Just keep in mind that the pic is distorted causing the broadheads to look shorter and fatter than they are.
Like the first group, all of the ferrules are the same and the blades are interchangeable to change the weight.

Look like Silver Flames to me, middle one especially looks like the big wide one.

Don't blame me for sexism in the pic, that's JoeBuck's idea.

Maybe I missed the first thread, are you building some for yourself and just showing some ideas? What type of input are you looking for, if any?

Oh,...yes sir...much better overall...I like the 1st one on the left...but still go by what I said in the 1st thread....it would still pretty much apply to this head as well.

I'm looking at making some for personal use and, once any bugs are worked out, possibly producing them to sell. My main idea for these designs is to have a different looking head than everyone else is using. My favorite design is in the first thread, but it's considered "barbed" and not legal in many states. I like the Silver Flames, but not the price tag that comes with them. I know the designs aren't for everyone, and any input is appreciated. BTW the first thread is OPINIONS ON THIS BROADHEAD DESIGN created on 19 Mar 2010.

The Silver Flames are definitely expensive, but they are extremely well made using great materials. If you could make broadheads of similar quality for a lot less money, you would probably sell a bunch of them. Based on what I have seen, the Silver Flames are priced fairly even at their high retail price. That kind of quality is expensive to produce. Maybe you can do it for less.

I like what you are doing and wish you the best of success in your efforts.

I'm curious if you've looked into any patents or copyrights that SilverFlame may have on their broadheads?
