I used the same BH with a #60 selfbow, poor cast, slow, but took 2 deer with it under 20 yds, both went less than 80yds after the shot. Sharpen them up and go hunting!! You will have great blood trails!

As for your questions they will kill deer just fine and will leave a bloodtrail. I do like using the muzzy phanton 4 blade since that puts a big hole in the animal and i have had great blood trails with them. But on a recent hog hunt I used the 2 blad phantoms since I was worried about complete pentration and the blood trails were good. If I was you shooting a 45lb bow i would stick with the two blade heads.

I believe you have your answer... but I'll add to it. My first trad deer was taken with a Zwickey Eskimo 2 blade. I did not get full penetration but the deer dropped within sight.

That was 12 years and many deer ago.

If it's sharp and you put it in the right place it doesn't matter how many blades it has. I've used 2,3,and 4 blades all with similar results.

there have been a gazillion deer killed with 2 blades when that's all there was. As long as it's sharp, flies good and hits the spot you are fine.

Caribou, Grizzly, Moose, Mt. Lion, Elk, Deer, etc all with 2 blade Zwikee's.  Enough said.

All I shoot is magnus 2 blade.  They do a great job.

Bowhunter4life

Magnus make an awesome 2-blade!  Easy to sharpen, do have some problems with bent tips but the "tanto" tip seems to help.  Then again the tips bent after they had done their job...

First deer I ever shot with a 2-blade, Magnus 1, 60# Shawnee foam core Dakota limbs.  Double lung and sticking in the dirt on the other side, 60 yard recovery.

When I shoot 2-blades I like them wide!  Wider the better!  Then again I'm shooting a bit more weight than you are also... Magnus 1, Silver Flame DS (also like the XL), and the Pearson Deadhead Wide.  Looking to give the Centaur heads a try also, both the Big Game and Battle Axe.
