For hunting to have a future, we must invest ourselves in future hunters.

Mine have been on for about a year. Seen some rough use locally here in the briars and brush. had them on in Oregon during my elk hunt.

I have had the pleasure of spending some time with Scott, and his father Larry.  They own Onestringer Arrow Wraps.  I have also used their wraps alot.  You will find no more dedicated, fun-loving, down-to-earth people on the planet.  They provide a great product, with amazing service, at a great price.

Mudd

Are they long enough for a long bow... say 72"? How wide are they.. the frugal part of me is thinking that my longbows aren't very wide so maybe one pair would do 2 bows.
Thanks!
God bless,Mudd

Archery isn't something I do, it's who I am!
The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.

Mudd--you will need one set for one bow. They are plenty long enough for a longbow, but the width isn't there to get 2 sets out of it. I'll try to post some pictures later-- I "skinned" 2 Bob Lees and a Pronghorn a year ago and I think they look great and hold up really well.

i was thinking the same thing mudd,i just got a lewis hollow t/d longbow and was thinking of doing the limbs.

BEN

Definitely 1 set per bow---they are narrowed at one end. Would have to be a pair of REALLY slim bows to get 2 out of 1 set.

here is a little better shot of my limbs:

Can you take these off w/o problems?

Do you just run a razor down the edges of each limb once placed on the limb to trim to fit?

raideranch

I saw this thread and decided to put these Onestringers diamondback skins on my K-Mag.  I bought them a month ago and was going to put them on some TT Black Max ILF limbs but changed my mind on the ILF so never put them on.  They look great and are extremely easy to put on but on mine the diamondback pattern doesn't follow the taper of the Limbsation very well.

BEN

"woodie4life"-----I haven't taken any off, but I have been told that they will peel off without any problems.

"azhunter"------ You are correct. After aligning and rubbing them down, you just run a razor edge along the sides of your limbs.

I have to get these for a Bob Lee longbow that has the ugliest limb backs..
