I'm refinishing a Bear Magnesium A riser with number 3 limbs that my Gramps handed down to me 4 years ago. I'm all done except waiting on the new latches to get here and gluing the grip back on the riser. What do you all suggest I glue the grip back on with?

Thanks for any info.

I have used barge cement, letting it get tacky before installing the grip.I just refinished an "A" handle myself and this time put a piece of double-sided carpet tape down the back of the magnesium handle, then put the grip on over it.It seems to be working fine without the mess.I have also found that tape very good for using on arrow rest material instead of glue, also.I hope you post pictures of your bow when you get it done.

Thanks. I have a tube of barge cement at home. As soon as the new latches get here I will post pics. This bow is very special to me being that it was my grandfathers. The last deer he killed with a bow and his antelope was takin with this bow.

Thanks again.
