(I posted this originally in the shooters forum but it doesn't belong there)

Hello Everyone,

I JUST purchased a Quinn Comet XL @ 35# and will be needing some arrows. This will be my first bow and I am new to shooting and would like to buy a dozen or so pre-made target shooting arrows till I find out how to make up my own. My step-father is going to show me how to make some up but I would like to start shooting as soon as I get my bow until I see him next. I was looking for some suggestions as what I should use if you guys know any. Sorry for the noobie question.  :)

Westy

I'm shooting some 15/35 Traditional Gold Tip's out of my 35# Sheepeater and have good luck.

Paul from Badger Arrows should be able to hook you up.
It's more important where you hit 'em, than what you hit 'em with!

What is your draw lenth? and what type of rest are you using? if you are using a flipper type you can get by with a plastic vane (feather) if so you can purchace them at most outdoor stores and will get you by till you can tell the difference. after that you may want to shoot feathers for a more consistant flight . at that point you will want to post your questons on the shooters forum I'm sure you will find your ansers there !  Pm me If you like ! MY draw length is 27in and I bought this rest  http://www.lancasterarchery.com/product_info.php?cPath=40_116&products_id=7464  I will have to take a stroll at the only outdoor shop I know in my area. Not too much around here that I have heard of in St. Pete, Florida. Guess a google search is in order.

Easton 1716 has worked good for me at 35# in the past.  Might be able to find them on a well known auction site that rhymes with flea bay!
