I am looking for a piece of snakewood for a riser. Does anyone know of a good supplier to get some for a riser block? Any help would be appreciated.

Brian, you could try a WTB add in the Trad Archery Bow Making Supplies forum! Someone there might be able to steer you in the right direction! Its worked for me before!

You could always check with Gilmer Lumber in Oregon.  Do a search for the web site.  I know they occasionally get in logs......BTW it is expensive and won't be collecting any dust while at Gilmer's....it usually gets sold quickly if it has good figure and no cracks.
