If you post a new topic, or a reply to an existing topic, it's convenient to get notified of any other member replies so that you can keep the conversation going without having to constantly login, search for that topic, and check the replies.

When replying to an existing topic, don't use the "Quick Reply" window - instead, click on the "Full Reply Form" button ...

... type in your reply, then scroll down a bit and check off the "Email Notification" box .,.

... then click on the "Add Reply" button to send off your post.

If this was a new topic you were creating, all that's needed is to check off the email notification box.

Whenever someone posts a reply, you'll now get an email notification that contains a hotlink directly to that new post, that will automatically open your browser and take you to Trad Gang!            :wavey:

It has been there as long as I can recall.  Now if I could just remember to check the box..

Any chance of having the info in the new post show up in the e-mail?  That is a real nice feature.
