I have both and prefer spring green in both the spring and the early fall season.

They made a very nice original product, then they wanted to make some more realistic, both are good but I stay with the spring green.

Glad my thinking isn't out of the norm...  I think the Green Deception would work OK, but I also think the Spring Green is a better pattern overall.

Like a lot of other camo patterns (Mossy Oak, Realtree, etc...), I think the Green Deception is more to catch the eye of the hunter rather than hide your form from critters...

As most of us know you can use just about anything and get close to most critters, but if you want an edge, breaking your form through actual deception (i.e. camo) you should use a pattern that actually can do/does this.

Jeff, My two cents  :D

If this is mostly for your spring turkey hunting...I'd pick Deception Green...here's why.

Even though I think Spring Green is a better overall pattern for most critters, and will make you literally disappear in most conditions, especially with green backrounds....

When I used to hunt turkeys without a blind, with bow...I used a lot of different camo's(camo junkie)...and as much as I luv'd my Predator camo(it was my fave) and wanted to use it....it seemed that somehow the turkeys would pick me up more often when wearing it...

I think the "lightness/brightness of color" was catching the turkeys keen eyes more than the subdued patterns I was also using at times.

Just my findings with turkeys....

So for me, for turkeys, my personal choice would be the Deception...overall, it's just not as light/bright...

You asked    :biglaugh:    ;)

That does make sense, especially when you tuck yourself into the shadows more often than not...

Thanks Curt for throwing a wrench into the works...  ;)

I like to use my Dark Horse when I can, and I wear black when I'm in it, but for them times I'm running and gunning I'd like to give myself the best chances...

Still thinking I guess...

The man who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can't are both right!!!
