Maybe this has been asked before but I couldn't find it.

What is the best way to remove old arrow wraps from carbon and wood shafts?  I've just scaped them off carbon in the past but have no idea with wood.  Just seeing if there's a better way.  Thanks.

Friends call me Pac

I use a blow dryer to heat them up and peel them off.

My Opinion, Shouldnt have used them to begin with.  Nothing GOOD is EASY! Or so it goes......  :archer:

Did somebody say BURGER????? I'm in!

Hey, you guys that use the hair dryer, aren't you afraid the heat will break down the carbon fibers??
I've seen too many pics on here with carbon shafts splintered thru arms.

I just hold the arrow over a boiling tea pot.  They usually peal right off.

search button up tops will reveal the answer...hair dryer or steam work fine on all arrows even carbons.  We're not cooking them here with jet engines just a normal amount of heat.

Okay...got it. Ya kill a cow, you take a pile of trimmings, you grind some burgers and ya cook 'em with the hairdyer. That's easier than remembering why I looked in. Oh, ya wraps...they're food too, aren't they?  :goldtooth:  Rick.

Terry, you know we fry everything down hyar.

rickshot...I like the way you think!
